@krellw not highpower, .22 caliber, Olympic style shooting. More than one Olympian has come thru here
@krellw remind me where you live? I shot on the national level in high school, shot NCAA for Ohio State. Just coach now
@krellw don't you just love it? Will ask tomorrow and drop you a note
just changed my toddler's diaper by the light of my iPhone while at camp
Working camp check in. Can spot every kid from south of Mason-Dixon because they say yes ma'am and no ma'am
@suburbanoblivian yep, absolutely love it. Plus some of the others "catch it" by the end of the week
working admin and listening to coaches give a presentation of "fundamentals of firing the shot" to the campers "
it's humid enough this morning that paper is moist and pliable and my ihpone is fogged over
@krellw nope, will have to track him down to ask
Can someone explain to my why Port Clinton Mosquitos are the size of hummingbirds and hunt ALL DAY LONG?
Wifi is spotty here on the lake, so working my way through the 266 items still sitting in my inbox, some a few months old.
Down to 139 items in my inbox. Liberal use of the delete key is helping significantly, but still doing lots of typing and responding.
preparing to record scores for the Olympic style shoot-off that wraps up today's practice match
Camp Perry has a new state of the art electronic air rifle range. 80 firing points, plasma screen tv shows spectators each shot you make.
@rachelphillips and I borrowed new co2 rifles and tried it. First time either of us had shot in about 10 or 12 years
Hmm, getting back online after being mostly offline for 10 days. Strangely, the world did not end without access to Twitter. Healthy.
In fact, world did not end with no access for most of a week. Good reminder of the need to weed out some wasted online time. (not Twitter)
Back from gym. First day back after a week at camp. Burned 720 calories in a bit over an hour though. Yay!

One child talking on phone, other one running literal circles around them.
We're cleaning out pantries this week. 22 month old takes that as license to build towers of canned goods in the kitchen.
Looking over the Blog Council Blogger Outreach toolkit http://blogcouncil.org/disclosure/
MMm....SIL decided she would like a mashed potato martini bar at her baby shower. This should be fun! Now to decide what goes with it.
Was reading LIsa's awesome post about fake avatars and then got sidetracked dreaming of cupcakes... http://tinyurl.com/cupcakesrock
Looking at Columbus Tweetup pics. Looks like @rockson is picking a fight with @lewishowes http://tinyurl.com/tweetupfight
Checking out Barcamp Ohio and thinking about signing up. http://barcamp.org/BarCampOhio
Did you know Emma plants five trees for every new customer they sign? Kinda cool. http://www.myemma.com/emmagivesback.php
There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy. There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy.
Greg just came home with milk, flour and a dozen yellow roses. Points scored = many. ;)
Just cancelled the kid's morning at Mango's Place. Wondering what to do to tire them out this morning. Maybe the Zoo or Easton fountains?
What's this I hear about Wendy's doing free lunch today on the State House lawn in Columbus?
So trying Tweet Deck again, but it never updates. Just buzzes and me that there are new Tweets. A way to fix that?
Dreaming of the day when I stop hearing people say "I created X, now I need to make it go viral."
Saw an awesome arts PSA yesterday about "Raisin Brahms" that made me LOL.
Hubby says am700 is talking Griffey this morning. Running promo with announcer saying, "Who's going to be the Reds next half-asser?"
Oh my word, did my battle with the Pork Board teach people NOTHING? http://www.adn.com/matsu/story/474936.html
New Post: California Milk Board Goes After Breastfeeding t-shirt. Pass it on please. http://tinyurl.com/milkjugs
I'm absolutely astonished at lawyer speak. Is anyone really going to confuse milk jugs with...well, milk jugs? Need to break out my tshirt
California Milk Processor Board phone number (949)481-6620. Just called. Call and ask if they know the dif between types of milk jugs. ;)
Man, if Twitter owns Summize now, how can they still miss so many replies in my replies tab?
Great blog post by @ambercadabra about trying to control the message http://tinyurl.com/amberrocks
If you hit the Columbus Tweetup yesterday, stop by and leave your thoughts on the food: http://tinyurl.com/5ty25g
Columbus folks, if you liked Baja Sol yesterday, I just spotted a BOGO coupon for them: http://tinyurl.com/bajasolBOGO
Sitting in traffic on my way to the Experience Columbus blogger event. Anyone else headed down?
just heard on radio that Sunbury wants to host the "Ugly Truck parade" what in the world is that? Or do I not want to know?
remembering why I'm glad I work at home. 20 minutes to go 2 miles. Insanity.
listening to pete mcginty talk about Columbus's new destination marketing campaign while eating jeni's ice cream
looks to be about 35 folks here getting the sneak peek.
people spend $5 billion a year on tourism and entertainment in Columbus each year
newcampaigns
just not sure I like these but will depend on implementation
Still thinking over the Experience Columbus campaign. Going to be writing a blog post about it tomorrow and some lessons.
Ever have someone pitch you and start with "I know you said you don't want pitches on X, but..." as their lead?
Laughing at http://garfieldminusgarfield.net/
Quote quiz. Who said: "Real peace is not just the absence of conflict, it's the presence of justice." (No cheating with Google) :-P
Attempting to register for BarCamp Ohio, but the credit card payment part is down. Anyone know the organizer?
Planning dinner and Buffy party with @rachelphillips and her sis tonight. Making honey chicken w/rice and Nutella Paninis
@rockson oh, don't get me wrong. I actually love me some sliders...but not for networking :)
Putting finishing touches on an article that has taken me most of the day to write. Could be a good sign or a bad sign.
@wyliemac @bitpakkit I guess I just felt like the site was soooo 1999 "Look! FLASH! No LOOK!!! FLASH!!!" and thus = ick.
Two rooms cleaned, groceries bought and put away kids fed and down for naps. Now to get a little work done before heading to the fair
@Eric_Urbane Ohh, Short North is a good fit for your style. How about Victorian Villiage/Neil Avenue near campus and Brewery District?.
Want to see your representatives and senators Twittering? Let congress know. http://letourcongresstweet.org/ #LOCT08
Well, after a lackluster first week of #tweightloss effort, I'm back to my SEOsFightFat method of logging all nutritional info
Hitting up the Hartford county fair tonight, will likely pack a bento for dinner, but are there any "not bad" fair foods?
Looking like chocolate covered bananas aren't that bad, less than 200 calories and pretty yummy. Caramel Apple around 280 calories.
No nutritional value, but only about 171 calories in cotton candy. Too bad I don't like cotton candy. It takes while to eat.
1,136 calories in those smoked turkey legs. 760 calories in your average funnel cake. 201 calories for buttered corn on the cob (not bad)
Lots of articles on this topic... for instance, The Minnesota State Fair boasts 54 different "food on a stick" items.
I wonder what happens to that 760 funnel cake with hot fudge and whipped topping added? LOL.
I always find weekend tweets to be an interesting switch from the everyday tweet grind. People loosen up.
My kids have never had cotton candy before, wondering what they'll think of it.
I hear sounds coming from rooms that should contain sleeping children. I guess we may be packing up for the fair earlier than I thought
Fair-food protection plan in place. Bento packed. Higher in fat than usual, but way better than fair food. http://tinyurl.com/fairfood
Well, the bento didn't offer total protection, but the french fry damage wasn't near what it could have been.
Besides, I skipped the granola bar, only ate half the cream cheese and ditched the egg yolks from my bento. So I pretty much broke even
Just back from trip to Old Time Pottery for catering supplies. Why is it the cheapest places are most suspicious you're trying to steal?
Forgot my wallet and only had my ATM card. No ID on me, so they wouldn't sell stuff. Came back with cash and they still gave me stink eye.
Back from the gym and shopping. 755 calories burned today .Woot!
Exciting to see more reps from Congress embracing social media. Both on Twitter and YouTube:
CSpan is playing YouTube videos right now with coverage from congressmen who appear to have snuck in cameras
Three cheers to the team at Experience Columbus for acting on the feedback they got. http://tinyurl.com/notincolumbus2
Man, ever had one of those days where you work non-stop, accomplish a bunch, but just can't get a blog post out?
Dug out old laptop with lines on the screen and set it up for kids. They're on Noggin.com having a blast. Should have done it sooner.
I'll probably come back tonight to find Nora has launched a blog and Emmitt is on Twitter...
Watching The Honeymooners on GTN. Can't watch it without feeling like I'm watching a play instead of a sitcom.
We bagged and gave groceries to 64 families this evening. Doesn't sound like much, until you realize Sunbury population = 3500.
Had people carpooling from surrounding neighborhoods for the groceries. No idea how many people the medical clinic saw. Forgot to ask
Can I just say the new Tide commercials with the talking stains are hysterical. I literally laugh out loud every time I see one.
Researching and booking flights for our team for SBMU.
Woken up by thunder. Columbus, prepare for impact. That's one big patch of red headed our way on radar.
@wyliemac hey, thanks! After reading all the feedback from the other bloggers as well, I'm glad to see they've adjusted their course
Looks like we'll miss the brunt of it up here, but still have a giant patch of yellow headed our way in 20-30 minutes
Wow, if this is what we're hearing in Sunbury, without being at the center, I'd expect to see more Cbus blogger woken up soon ;)
It feels good to be back at Panera. Haven't been here in nearly three weeks due to travel/baby Hayden visits.
I miss Twitter on Gtalk. I don't feel like I can fully utilize the service without Gtalk access. :(
Time for the once a week manual review and cleanup of my spam box. 9800 messages await my perusal. Joy.
Is Amazon.com deleting negative reviews of Nancy Pelosi's new book? http://tiny.cc/amazondelete
@wyliemac Hiring @larak for PR/outreach didn't hurt either ;) Just glad they back up the smart move with willingness to change
Wow, I zipped right past my 5000th update this morning and didn't even notice it. Ah well...will have some time to think before 10K
Just wrapped up a 2 hour webinar on viral marketing with the team at Market Motive. Always fun to talk viral. :)
Good workout this morning at the gym, 780 calories. Working some jogging/sprint bursts into my routine.
Wow, just had a flashback of SES SJ back when it was at the DoubleTree. Small, but fun venue. (awesome pool!)
LOL. Can't stand Paris Hilton, but this is good. http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/64ad536a6d
Mmm...grits and eggs for dinner. I always forget just how much I love grits. :)
Last night hubby came home with Wii Fit as a surprise. YAY! Then Wii Fit told me I'm fat. Not so yay. Super fun though!
Resisting urge to play with Wii fit when I actually have an article in my head that needs writing.
Besides, spent the morning at the Zoo with kids and @rachelphillips followed by super yummy Chik-fil-et playtime for lunch
Google shutting down anti-Obama blogs? Anyone have any other links on this? http://tinyurl.com/obamablogger
Why does organic milk almost always come in non-recyclable cardboard cartons? I can only recycle plastic jugs.
Trying to wrap up an article fo rthe day so I can get off the stinking computer for the night
Frying up some lite kielbasa, brown rice, zucchini and yellow squash for dinner. Fresh corn from the garden as well. Yum!
